What is biofermentation? Biofermentation is a unique scientific process that amplifies desired qualities found in nature. It is used to make wine and other food products and is one of the oldest technologies with thousands of years of history. Because of the delicate processing and meticulous care required to produce desired results, fermentation is often considered an art among scientists.

What is green chemistry? “Green chemistry is the design of chemical products and processes that reduce or eliminate the use and generation of hazardous substances.”

What is mangosteen-infused water? Our formulas do not begin with regular water. Our formulas begin with a unique, one-of- a-kind, mangosteen-infused water. This process entails steeping (like a tea bag in water) mangosteen pericarp powder into USP grade purified water. This allows for the transfer of mangosteen’s powerful phytonutrients into the first ingredient and base of each formula. You can enjoy optimal skin benefits from mangosteen with mangosteen-infused water.

I heard Natural Pure Skin Care is a brand with green focus. But what exactly does “green focus” mean? We select ingredients from natural sources as much as possible. In addition, we take extra steps to make sure each ingredient is clean of hidden additives, chemicals or toxins. Upon manufacturing our products, it uses a special blending technology called cold processing, reducing carbon emissions which could negatively impact the environment. Additionally, cold processing enhances the efficacy of the product by supporting the nutrient integrity of the performance ingredients within the formulations.

Are our products tested by dermatologists? Yes. All formulas are tested by dermatologists.

Why is cold processing important? Many cosmetic products are blended at near-boiling temperatures for various reasons. This process often compromises the potency of vitamins and natural enzymatic activity of botanical phytonutrients. We utilize cold processing where the blending of active ingredients takes place at a lower temperature to ensure nutrient integrity of performance ingredients. This special processing method is more “green” or environmentally friendly, than traditional blending processes as it requires less energy and leaves a smaller carbon footprint on the environment.

Is Natural Pure Skin Care organic? No. Currently there is no global certification on organic products. We have not gone this direction. We do do, however, source ingredients from credible suppliers that produce their botanical ingredients under sustainable conditions.

Does Natural Pure Skin Care contain SPF? Natural Pure Skin Care does not contain any FDA approved SPF ingredients. However, some of the natural ingredients in Our Skin Care protect the skin from environmental damage.

Why are all 4 steps important? To get the best results for your skin, it’s important to use all 4 steps in the Natural Pure Skin Care System because each product is formulated for specific benefits that are designed to work in combination with one another to achieve healthy skin.

Does Natural Pure Skin Care contain wheat protein or any wheat byproduct? No. Natural Pure Skin Care is gluten-free and does not contain any ingredients from wheat.

Does Natural Pure Skin Care contain soy? Yes. Natural Pure Skin Care contains soy.

Does Natural Pure Skin Care contain lecithin? No. Natural Pure Skin Care does not contain lecithin.

What preservatives are used in Natural Pure Skin Care? Natural Pure Skin Care uses a minimal level of food-grade and other gentle preservatives, such as sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate and botanical-based ingredients, which help to preserve the products.

Are there any animal byproducts in Our formulas? We have one ingredient derived from marine crustacean, but there is no other ingredient that may be considered an animal ingredient or animal byproduct.

Is Natural Pure Skin Care tested on animals? Our Skin Care products are not tested on animals as indicated on the product package and sales tools.

I heard some of the commonly used ingredients in skin care are harsh on skin. Does Our Skin Care contain any harsh chemicals? Our Skin Care is designed to work intuitively to support skin’s daily functions without the use of harsh chemicals or dangerous toxins. Does Natural Pure Skin Care use a synthetic fragrance? Our prodcuts do not contain any synthetic fragrances. The aroma comes from the blend of BioActive X3 Complex and other botanical ingredients. Each ingredient is selected carefully for the specific purpose of nutritional benefit and supplementation to the largest organ of the body, the skin, but at the same time produces a subtle, natural aroma that dissipates quickly. According to the EWG, an analysis of the chemical contents of products reveals that innocuous-looking “fragrance” often contains chemicals linked to negative health effects. Phthalates, used to make fragrances last longer, are associated with damage to the male reproductive system and artificial musks accumulate in our bodies and can be found in breast milk. Some artificial musks are even linked to cancer. Fragrance formulas are considered to be among the top 5 known allergens, and can trigger asthma attacks. The same kinds of chemicals are often used for fragrance in cleaning products, scented candles and air fresheners.

Natural Pure Skin Care does not smell like anything I am used to using. Why is it not more fragrant? Our products do not contain any synthetic fragrances. Its aroma comes from the blend of BioActive X3 Complex and other botanical ingredients. Is Natural Pure Skin Care for women only? No. Our products are for both men and women who are conscious about their skin health.

How often do I use your products? We recommend a very simple 4-step regimen twice daily, morning and night.

Which product should I use? We recommend using a full, 4-step system for optimal results. The system represents significant savings compared to purchasing individual products. Use System I for normal to dry skin if you have dry or mature skin. System II for normal to combination skin is designed for people with overactive skin. In addition, many people like to use a combination of both System I and System II (ex. Use System I at night to keep the skin well hydrated during the night time, and System II for daytime to keep the skin refreshed throughout the day).

My skin is very sensitive. Can I use your products? Yes, Natural Pure Skin Care is designed for sensitive skin. But people have different reactions to skin care products. Sometimes the products you have been using for months and years can cause a reaction when a new skin care system is introduced. If you are concerned that you may experience an adverse reaction, apply the product to the inside of your forearm prior to using it on your face, check for any signs of sensitivity.

Why am I experiencing flushing/redness when I use this for the first time? Rather than producing a cosmetic effect—as is the case with many traditional skin care products containing synthetics, fillers, silicones and occlusive emollients—Our formulas allow your skin to breathe, supporting an optimal state of wellbeing. The formulas are active, biologically alive compounds that you may actually feel on your skin the first time you use it—this can manifest itself in an initial flushing of the skin. Similar to the slight flushing in your skin after exercise, this is a positive effect. The flushing you may experience with our product is its own form of exercise for your skin, delivering oxygen that brings results! If you experience flushing, it usually subsides. However, if you experience swelling or other adverse reaction, please discontinue use.

Why am I suddenly experiencing breakouts? It is common with the introduction of any new skin care regimen to experience a mild detoxification. With Natural Pure Skin Care, the introduction of green and toxin-free skin care will be welcome and refreshing to your skin, since it has never experienced something so natural and luxurious. But even this change in regimen may cause a few blemishes as the skin and body purge pre-existing toxins. Because this detoxification purge is a temporary—and for many of us, necessary—step, it is important that you continue your product regimen. Our experience is that after a few weeks of consistent product usage, your skin will acclimate to its new regimen, revealing hydrated, smooth, radiant and healthy-looking skin—skin that is no longer absorbing harmful chemicals. For optimal results, be sure to remove all traces of cleanser and other impurities each time you cleanse your face.
